Ryobi tools began with die-cast products as their humble beginnings. Although Ryobi Seisakusho Co., Ltd was established in 1943, they didn’t start manufacturing power tools until 1968.
According to industry experts, Ryobi’s breakthrough was when it acquired assets of Diehl Motor Company and became a Sears Craftsman supplier. The Ryobi brand has been the preferred choice for professionals and novices alike, up to today.

Ridgid
Ridgid tools has extensive business experience, just like Craftsman and DeWalt. It’s no surprise that Ridgid tools continue to be a dominant force in the power tool market, having been established in Ohio in 1923.
Emerson Electric, their subsidiary in 1966, was the catalyst for Ridgid’s rise. It is a well-known manufacturer of high-quality tools such as Milwaukee. Ridgid products are still being innovated to tackle more difficult jobs for professionals.
